I should start a photo project of women carrying different kinds of shopping items.
This dressed up lady was waiting on the median of busy Michigan Ave. traffic in Chicago.
An arrangement of chairs in an empty convention center.
We and friends were having lunch at an Indian restaurant in Chicago. We were laughing at some jokes when this kid walked by our window outside. Apparently he also was influenced by our laughter.
A mourning dove on my deck. Although they are pretty, I am not fond of their mournful cooing sound (hence the name Mourning Dove). This seems to be a female bird since it lacks the dark black band around the neck.
I noticed this corner in a local fast food joint. The assembly of three different styles of chairs in bright colors drew my attention. The rich mix of colors and mixed lighting presents a challenge that every photographer has to deal with. This is my take on it.
My attempt at photographing buildings.
I have a weakness for daisies, but this is not the garden variety daisy. The beauty and cheerfulness of these flowers was only evident in close up. The uneven length of crisp white petals makes them very authentic.
In my yard, I have seen clover that has the usual cone shaped bunch of purple flowers. But these look different. I saw these flowers on a nature trail and they display an almost perfect symmetry.
I don’t know which flowers these are but they are tiny and pretty.
A view of lake near Hannibal, Missouri.
Today, we headed out to the country for a photo-shoot and found some roadside flowers. I caught this little monster sucking nectar with his ‘straw’. Poor guy is missing one of the antennae and that makes him special.
